Female Football Fives give an opportunity for women and girls of varying abilities to play socially focussed football. The project is set up by females and our ethos is to provide a communal space with a fun vibe on weekday evenings so more females can play the beautiful game.
Established in 2016 after noticing a gap in the market for social, Female Football Fives (FFF) was launched by two Nottingham graduates eager to offer a recreational option for females within a friendly and safe environment. FFF offered a wide range of football incentives for females through 5 a-side leagues, summer tournaments, girls only holiday camps, female veterans sessions and training opportunities.
Now, FFF are widening the well received 5 a-side competitions inclusive of two league levels of play from beginners and veterans to experienced-recreational players while connecting women to their local opportunities across the UK. The Female Football Fives dream is to multiply these opportunities across multiple cities in the U.K.
Pukka Athletic are the official league sponsors and look forward to supporting FFF in their mission, initially providing Pukka Athletic equipment and helping build the identity of some of the teams in the League from Team Logos to Playing Kit.
